Custom Made Collage Art
Pochemuchka Design developed a series of collages for the Nicolas Witsen Hotel in the centre of Amsterdam. The series exist of 9 works thematically centered around Dutch icons. The first things that pop into mind are of course cheese, tulips and clogs. What more is typically Dutch? From canals to mills, it is all there in the visuals. The Pochemuchka design team managed to come up with a lovely remix of the old world and the new. The hotel’s wallpaper is also used as a buildings stone for the collage. By adding a contextual element like the wallpaper, the print becomes one with its surrounding. This way we managed to integrate ‘old’ and ‘new’ into one integrated design.
